3rd Street Gallery is pleased to present its first community art show, Embodiment: Figure in Art, in its new Queen Village/Head House Square space, on view from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, March 22, with an opening reception on Friday, January 24 from 5 to 9 pm.
Embodiment: Figure in Art features a collection of contemporary artworks by local artists that focuses on the figurative form and unique perspectives on the human condition. Expressed through a variety of media, styles and concepts, this eclectic grouping of works explores the significance of one of the longest standing traditions in art - the figure as muse.
