3rd Street Gallery is pleased to present its first community art show, Embodiment:Figure in Art, in its new Queen Village/Head House Square space, on view from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, March 22, with an opening reception on Friday, January 24 from 5 to 9 pm.
Embodiment:Figure in Art features a collection of contemporary artworks by local artists that focuses on the figural form and unique perspectives on the human condition. Expressed through a variety of media, styles and concepts, this eclectic grouping of works explores the significance of one of the longest standing traditions in art - the figure as muse.

AMSTERDAM WHITNEY GALLERY, 511 West 25th Street, Chelsea, New York City, is proud to show in its MAY 5-JUNE 14, 2017 Exhibition leading Contemporary Master Artists whose work explores the abstract, figurative and natural worlds, exalting the realm of the aesthetic through brilliant coloration and dazzling form.  This special “Salude to the Stars” exhibition offers a magical tribute which will enchant the senses of both art acquisitiors and art aficionados alike with its incandescent renewal and hypnotic regeneration of the visual realm as these spellbinding masters define the cultural pulse of the modern art world. Pulsating with dynamic synergy and expressive artistic creativity, these artists render a visual lexicon of sophisticated, eclectic and often joyful representations of the world as they shine the spotlight on a unique, universal artistic language, creating dazzling panoramas of visual delight that are infused with a divine creative spirit.

MULBERRY ART STUDIOS (NORTH GALLERY)
LANCASTER, PA / MAY 1ST - MAY 29TH, 2015

Mulberry Art Studios, 21 N. Mulberry St., is practically a whole Art Walk in itself. Stephanie Paige Cole, gallery curator and publicist for the venue, has organized about 18 events at Mulberry during the weekend. Mulberry has eight different artists showing their work on First Friday and both days of Art Walk. Eduardo Verdecia has created colorful abstract paintings using images from GPS and Google maps as inspiration; Yunia Lores' paintings will explore academic stereotypes and moral prejudices; and Katherine Horst will show mixed-media landscape collages inspired by nature.
